General

At the general tab you can set an acronym, title, subtitle, venue, city, duration, start date, time zone and currency. Changing the acronym afterwards may invalidate some links to the system because the acronym is used in the feedback system and in the submission system. As the acronym is also used in external links to the system it might be a good idea not to use any spaces in it. Pentabarf is of course able to handle spaces in acronyms even for external links. You can also change the Conference Phase here. The timeslot duration is the smallest amount of time you want to plan in. The duration of your events is always a multiple of this value. Default timeslots sets the timeslot duration for new events. The conference languages are the languages in which your events can be held. Only these languages are available on the event page for setting the event language. You can also upload a conference logo here.

Persons

Here you can define teams for your conference. You can assign events to teams on the events page.

Tracks

Here you can define the tracks of your conference. Every event can be assigned a track. You can also style the output differently for each track because the css class in the HTML Export is set to the name of the track.

This URL allows people to create a new account:

 <url_to_your_pentabarf_installation>/user/new_account

Rooms

At the Rooms tab you can modify the rooms of the conference.

Events

At the events tab you find an alphabetically sorted list of all events of the conference.

Here you can find everything related to export. You can set the release number which is shown in exports. You can enable the Feedback System. Setup the URLs and modify the CSS for the HTML-Export and the Feedback System. The submission checkbox enables or disables the Submission System.

If you set a feedback base url and enable the Feedback System links to the Feedback System will be included in the HTML-Export.

At this tab there are also links to the iCal and xCal files. The HTML Export button leads to a preview of the HTML-Export.
