General
This is the tab for general things of an event like title, subtitle and tag. You can also set the event state and the event progress state. The event progress state is different for every substate. You can also assign this event to a team. There are flags whether this event is public, whether you expect papers for this event and whether you expect slides for this event. The latter two flags trigger can trigger conflicts if no paper or no slides have been uploaded. You can also upload a logo for the event here.
Event type
There are several values for event type. Currently there is nothing implied when choosing an event type, but this might change in the future ( certain conflicts might only trigger for certain event types)
The following list will help you decide which to use for a particular event:
- Contest
- Lecture
- Lightning-Talk
- Meeting
- Movie
- Other
- Podium
- Workshop
Persons
The person tab lists all persons that are associated with this event.
Description
At the description tag you find the abstract and the description and you can upload attachments for this event. With the public flag you can influence whether you want this attachment to be exported in the HTML-Export.
Links
Here you can add links. Public links will appear in the HTML-Export.
Schedule
Here you find all information relevant for the schedule.
Rating
Here you can give your oppinion about this event. At the bottom of this tab you will see a list of all persons that already rated this event.
Resources
Related
Currently the related event stuff is only used to ease the navigation through events. On the related tab of the event page you can see events with same speakers and those manually marked as related.
When copying events they are automatically related.
Feedback
Here you can find a summarized overview of the data from the Feedback System.
