What license does Pentabarf use?

Pentabarf is open source software, distributed under the GNU General Public License.

Where can I checkout the code?

The latest release of Pentabarf is 0.4.4. Download Bug-Tracker

Is there an archive of the mailing list?

For some reason the mailman archive doesn't work. But the Pentabarf mailing list is also archived by gmane.org and mail-archive.com.

What version am I running?

Every page should have the version in the title. e.g. Pentabar 0.3.15 r6172

0.3.15 refers to the Pentabarf version number.

The r6172 refers to the repository revision number.

The version can also be found within rails/app/helpers/application_helper.rb by searching for pentabarf_version

Do smartphone applications exist to display the schedule?

Yes, of course. Some commercial and opensource applications exist.

The FOSDEM conference did a call for development for the 2010 edition of their conference. Four applications were developed and the code has been released online. With some minor changes it should work perfectly for your pentabarf-enabled conference. Don't hesitate to contact the developers of the respective applications
